Convert-to-iPod.com was launched in 2010 and is the product of three longtime Apple enthusiasts who don’t quite understand why people don’t care about getting the most out of their mobile devices. After blogging about iPods on other websites for the past few years, we decided to launch our own.
MissionIt’s simple: give apple iPod/iPhone/iPad/iAnything users the software they need to unlock the hidden potential of their devices. All too often the authors of this blog have had fellow iPod’ers or iPhone’rs come up and ask “How’d you do that?” Whether we’re on the plane and the guy next to us asks how we got so many movies on our iPhone, or the girl next to us in college asked us how we got YouTube clips on our old iPod Classic, we decided to spread the knowledge. And here we are. ProcessThe problem with the vast majority of iPod/iPhone software on the internet is that it’s absolutely loaded with spyware and viruses. If you Google “DVD to iPod” or “Free DVD ripper” you’ll find tons of “free” programs that serve as vessels for a whole host of unwanted crap. The fact of the matter is that almost all of the free software out there has a catch – why else would something that useful be free? Thankfully, there are a handful of honest, innovative, and creative companies out there that really do make quality software for your mobile devices, and they do it for an incredibly fair price. It’s our job to introduce those “good guys” to you. |
